My last car was a brand new Jetta.  It had all the bells and whistles and looked amazing.  It drove so nicle and was perfect on mileage.  It was a great car at the time but I ended up spending thousands more than I needed to.

What I didn't realize at teh time was that a car is almost never an investment.  As soon as you drive off the lot, it loses more than 20% of its value!  Had I opted for a model that was 2 or 3 years older, I would have saved AT LEAST 7 GRAND.

5 years later, I decided to explore other options.

Upon the recommendation of a friend who recently purchased an absolutely gorgeous Audi (I couldn't believe that it wasn't new and the car came with a warranty!), I paid a visit to Hughes Motor Products.

I was greeted by the owner Shawn Hughes, who has over 25 yers experience in the auto industry.  With over 30 vehicles on the lot, he invited me to site and asked me some very important questions.  What was the vehicle mostly going to be used for?  How important was the mileage?  Did I participate in a lot of activities that required cargo space?  How important was the luxury aspect?   What was my budget?

I informed him that I wanted a safe 4WD utility vehicle with enough space for me to transport my very active 5-year old son.  As a small business owner who drives to clients all day, I wanted to step it up a notch from a professional standpoint.  Shawn immediately suggested the BMW X3.  After I did my due diligence, I realized he had made the perfect recommendation.

After consutling me with a few options, I was asked to revisit him in a couple of weeks.  I pulled in and saw a beautiful, black BMW sitting there, looking brand new.  It was 3 years old and had only 60,000 km.  And the price that I pad was truly amazing.  The vehicle was perfect!
